Another excellent example of "When you abuse metrics, you get whatever you measure."

Re: Color Bias in Microsoft Communicator

Nick Fedoroff is to Colorblindness like Derek Fine is to Gluten-Free.

Remember that time you couldn't tell whether the banana was ripe? You're busted!

Just kidding. But I came across this post, and I wanted to apologize.

We use mailchimp for all our email communications, and I've looked into this whole process, and for the life of me, I can't figure out how to change it.

I go into mailchimp, and there is a section called "forms", which contains all the pages and emails that pertain to the signup and unsubscribe process. You have the option to change the content of the "Goodbye Email", but there isn't an option to *NOT* send it. So as long as we use mailchimp, we're stuck with this double confirmation process.

I guess that the reason for it is that you could conceivably forward an email to a friend, and they could unsubscribe you from a list that you'd like to continue to receive emails from. Which is silly - mailchimp should just figure out a way to disable the unsubscribe function for forwards or replies.

So I'm afraid that the answer is #1 from above - I was totally unaware of this process. The problem is that I can't change it All I can do is say sorry.

I'm sorry you had a negative experience with Zooppa.

Josh

Re: You Had Me At Goodbye

Fantastic! You obviously have a concrete handle of the areas everyone is browsing for on this blog anyways and you could possibly even make a buck or two from some ads. I would explore following recent headlines and increasing the amount of posts you put up and I bet you'd begin seeing some nice traffic soon. Just a brainstorm, good luck regardless!

[WORDPRESS HASHCASH] The poster sent us '0 which is not a hashcash value.

Re: App Store Peevs

Dude.
